NEPTUNE - End Of Time CD

NEPTUNE from Sweden only released their debut in 2020, but can already look back to the eighties as a band, having recorded an EP in 1986. Their new work "End Of Time" is a work that is partly epic, partly quite heavy, but always melodic. The melodic metallers skillfully tell stories of Vikings and important battles without getting too bogged down in clichés. The obvious role models like JUDAS PRIEST or ACCEPT ("Sun Goes Down") are clearly recognizable, but "more contemporary" sounds like SABATON ("Motherland") or ENBOUND are also recognizable, and everything is produced with attention to detail.
