MERRYWEATHER STARK WACKERMAN - Cosmic Affect DigiCD

It all started on November 29th, 2019 when Janne Stark was in Las Vegas with Neil Merryweather to finish the second "Merryweather Stark" album. During this time, they were invited to tour the Skeleton Key Recordings studio. There they met drummer John Wackerman. Neil, Janne and John got along musically straight away and the ideas and inspiration just gushed out of them. In just a few days, 10 outstanding hard rock songs were created. Musically, they leaned towards the 70's era, with inspiration from bands like Bad Company, Point Blank, ZZ Top and even a hint of King's X in a few riffs. On March 28, 2021, Neil passed away from a malignant brain tumor. The story could have ended here, but together with Neil's partner Kathleen, it was decided that the album should be completed and released. The title of the album, "Cosmic Affect", was John's idea as there was certainly something cosmic that made these three minds write an entire album of great songs in just two and a half days.
