In 1984, The Jack was the top act in Salt Lake City Utah. The Jack was one of the first glam metal bands to come out of Utah. Rick Jackson had a unique raspy voice that would appeal to fans of Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), while the band played a blend of glammy hard rock with melodic keyboards. The album "Rock Elite" was pressed only to cassette and was pressed to very few copies.
